Here are our terms and conditions please read them before booking your course. They are here to protect you, us and others training on our courses.
A non-refundable deposit of £150 for each course week is required to reserve your place, with the balance due 14 days before the start date of your course.
Payment can be made by cheque, credit/debit card or BACS transfer. Cheques should be made payable to Silver Trowel Ltd.
A letter confirming the start date of your course will be sent in receipt of your booking form.
The fee covers the use of all tools and materials required for your course. It does not include text books, note books or writing materials.
You will be required to bring safety boots and work wear for all of our Plastering Courses.
Protective gloves, glasses and ear protection, ( PPE ) if required, will be provided by Silver Trowel Ltd for you to use free of charge during the course.
Cancellation of your course: fees excluding deposits are refundable if written cancellation is received at least 21 days prior to your course start date, otherwise the full fee becomes payable.
If you are unable to attend due to exceptional unavoidable circumstances, a new date may be offered at the discretion of Silver Trowel Ltd.
If you should have to change your course date you will be charged an administration fee of £25.00 provided we have at least 21 days notice. The deposit remains non-refundable. You can only request to move your course once.
It is your responsibility to attend and complete the course. If you fail to attend all the days of your course or are consistently late. Silver Trowel Ltd reserves the right to ask you to leave the course with no refund of course fees.
Please ensure that you are able to attend the complete course, as once your course has started, it cannot be completed at a later date.
Silver Trowel Ltd reserves the right to alter booking arrangements if necessary and has the right to refuse any application.
Silver Trowel Ltd cannot be held responsible for accommodation. Any information provided is to assist in your search for accommodation. You are responsible for your own booking and payment.
If you lose your original invoice and require a copy of an invoice or confirmation letter, a £10.00 administration fee will be charged.
Candidates agree to comply with Silver Trowel Ltd’s health and safety policies and procedures at all times during the course.
Where any candidate does not comply with a specific request. That candidate will be asked to leave the course immediately with no refund of course fees.
Any candidate misbehaving, or acting in a way that would be an impediment to other course candidates, will be asked to leave the course immediately with no refund of course fees.
All candidates attending any course with Silver Trowel Ltd agree to be bound by these terms.
We ask that you notify us immediately of any complaint and every effort will be made to address this in a timely manner.
At the end of each course you will be provided with a feedback form. We encourage you to complete this.
If you fail to notify us of any problem it may seriously affect any right you may have to compensation.
